Since I've made frequent use of the various stock images available around dA, it seemed only fitting to (finally) give a journal feature to my favorite stockers.  These are arranged by, but not limited to, the categories I've found most useful.  So, in no particular order:

Background textures:

  A wide variety of beautiful, detailed textures.

  My favorite parchment/vellum background textures, period.

Models:

  Extremely useful fighting/weapons poses, plus lots of other stuff.

  Lots of fantasy-oriented poses, including armored riders on horseback (EXTREMELY cool).

  A great variety of poses (male and female), and a dash of humor too.  

  Doesn't seem to have updated recently, alas.  But still has tons of great poses in a variety of visually interesting settings.

  Lots of awesome, amazingly detailed costumes.

  A great source for oddball, slightly off-kilter poses and scenes.  Another one that hasn't updated in a while, but still has an extensive gallery of older material.

Animals:

  Gorgeous photos of wolves and dogs.

  Tons of animals, plants, nature scenes and various objects and places.

Miscellaneous and Uncategorizable:

  Just what it sounds like:  blood, blood, blood.    (Note that there are two dashes between "blood" and "stock" in the name.)

  Models, animals, objects, places, brushes…a little bit of everything!

  Some of the best blood spatter Photoshop brushes I've found.

  Cool parchment backgrounds, plus useful tutorials.
